I visited Lilygate after being in Lagos for two weeks and had experienced rolling blackouts lack of water and other inconveniences that I don’t suffer in the US… just different here in Nigeria. The hotel really had all modern conveniences and I appreciated it so much! Never was I lacking comfort while being here and I needed it terribly. The staff is extremely gracious and hospitable and they wait on you hand and foot even when you don’t want them to; they just make you feel like family and that they want to do everything for you to help you be comfortable and welcome. I stayed 5 days and everyday got better from the hospitality to the food and service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will definitely visit again when in Lagos.

The hotel is beautiful. The lobby and dining areas are impressive! The cuisine was very good. Buffet style. Main cuisine was local but some American Items were always available on the menu. The hotel staff is AMAZING! They are all so kind, professional and very courteous. I think we befriended them all. In-house massages were also very good. The gym was an added bonus; good equipment. We spent many hours by the pool area. Such a lovely stay. We felt safe in their care. Guards and attendants surrounded the hotel perimeter.

Breakfast was good. Maybe they can offer some more fruit options and some more lighter options for those of us who don’t eat a heavy breakfast. But I did appreciate that they were willing and able to prepare certain breakfast items to my request as part of the breakfast buffet included in my reservation. The restaurant and lobby staff were amazing and attentive and the hotel was lively and engaging, and I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

The location of the property is superb. There are so many conveniences such as banks, Restuarant etc. at close proximity to the facility. The management of the property hired good people staring from those at the front desk, bell man, security, Restuarant and house keeping.
